Privacy Statement 

LADIES FIRST is committed to protecting the privacy of all its members, subscribers, donors, interns, volunteers and clients (including potential volunteers and clients) (collectively “Users”) in accordance with the provisions of the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, 2012 (“PDPA”). All personal information that we collect from Users is strictly for the purpose of running LADIES FIRST and not for any commercial reason.

Cookies

Like many websites, we use “cookies,” which are small text files that are stored on your computer or equipment when you visit certain online pages that record your preferences. We use cookies to track use of our Websites and online services. We may also use cookies to monitor traffic, improve the Websites, and make it easier and/or relevant for your use. Disclosure to Third Parties

Except where it is necessary to grant access to data intermediaries (for example, vendors and contractors engaged by LADIES FIRST for the provision of software maintenance and other services, including helpline system, call log system, etc.) and/or as otherwise permitted under the PDPA, LADIES FIRST does not provide any User’s personally identifiable information to a third party without the User’s consent.

Updating/Correction of Personal Data

LADIES FIRST endeavours to record all Users’ personal data accurately. In the event a User notices any error in his/her personal data held by LADIES FIRST or if his/her personal information has changed, he/she should notify LADIES FIRST by sending an email (together with proof of identity including name, phone number, email and postal address) to hello@ladiesfirstsg.com. The correction will be made as soon as possible but not later than 60 days from receipt of notification. The request will be denied if LADIES FIRST is not able to contact the User, or he/she is not able to provide satisfactory proof of identity.

Protection and Security of Personal Information

LADIES FIRST will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data of Users is securely stored or filed.
